  • Guest:After leaving the Maldives and our five-star resort, I was convinced the trip could only go downhill. Then we checked into The Laurus Hotel, Singapore—and everything changed. I discovered we could, in fact, spend one more day in paradise. We arrived late and tired, but by morning the hotel and we had come alive through its extraordinary service. Amalina gave us a personal tour of the lobby and its art, explaining how each piece connects to Singapore’s history and people. The hotel itself is a masterpiece, designed by P49 Deesign, where every material, light, and texture feels deliberate and refined. Our room was spacious, elegant, and flawlessly functional—true five-star luxury without a hint of excess. The pool was equally impressive: tranquil, palm-lined, and perfectly attended by Hassan and Ashraf, who seemed to anticipate every need before we could ask. At breakfast, Selina and Hafiz somehow appeared each time I reached for my teacup—I drank three times more tea than usual simply because their timing was so flawless. Breakfast was superb. Every staff member we met—Tiffany, Desiree, Vilia, and Shevendran—carried themselves with the polish and pride of a professional inspection. Shoes gleamed, shirts were pressed, postures straight. When we departed, several staff members gathered at the taxi to see us off with genuine warmth and perfect manners. Including Selina the hotel’s crowning jewel. Her warmth and sincerity made every encounter a delight, and we look forward to returning next year to see her once more. As exquisitely beautiful as The Laurus Hotel is, it was the staff who impressed us most. From housekeeping to the kitchen team, every greeting and every conversation felt sincere and heartfelt. They are the reason we’ll be returning—and staying longer next time. What an impression they made; they actually made me forget I had just left paradise. Moral of the story: listen to your wife when she says, “Let’s stay somewhere you’ve never heard of.” You’ll be very glad you did. Singleton/Guan
  • Guest:WOW! An absolute gem where a paradise of calm and tranquility rises on Sentosa, and The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort, captures that feeling with remarkable ease. From the first step inside, the world quiets. The staff radiates a warmth rare even in Singapore, and that sincerity transforms the stay into something that feels personal. It felt like our own private oasis, hidden inside one of the busiest integrated resorts in Asia. The Laurus carries a sense of emotional stillness. Light reflects off polished black and white marble floors. A stained glass window anchors the corridor with a soft glow that shifts across the hallway like a living piece of art. The lobby opens into a soaring space crowned by a sculptural chandelier that resembles drifting laurel leaves. Every part of the design invites breathing room. Suites continue this theme. They feel residential, not staged. Thoughtful lighting, spacious layouts, and calm textures work together to create a refuge where mornings start slowly and evenings settle into complete quiet. Views stretch over gardens, pools, and the tropical landscape of Sentosa, yet the space holds the feeling of a private retreat. Service at The Laurus deserves special praise. The team operates with precision, but never stiffness. They anticipate needs without interrupting the sense of calm. They remember preferences as if welcoming a returning friend. Their kindness shapes the entire experience. The resort feels luxurious because the people make it so. Breakfast stands among the best in Asia. Every detail carries intention. Bowls of granola with strawberries and blueberries arrive perfectly balanced. Artisanal yogurts and preserves line the table in small jars. Smoked salmon, cured meats, and fresh fruit sit in beautiful displays. Then come the hot dishes that seal the memory. Waffles with caramelized bananas, strawberries, cream, and a delicate crumble that adds just the right structure. Breakfast becomes a highlight, not a routine. Evenings create a completely different rhythm. Laurus Table glows with warm light and the energy of a refined home. The restaurant blends the spirit of coastal Italy with Singapore’s own culinary story. Wine sits ready at the bar. Service moves gently, allowing conversations to stretch. Dinner never feels like a scheduled event. It feels like returning to a space where the day slows, the atmosphere softens, and time becomes generous. The pool deck continues the sense of sanctuary. Gardens wrap around the water. Cabanas create private pockets of shade. Drinks arrive smoothly. Nothing feels rushed. The entire outdoor area reads as an invitation to stay just a little longer. By night, The Laurus becomes even more striking. Reflections shimmer across the marble. Corridors glow with soft light. The bar radiates a warm amber tone. These scenes make the resort feel cinematic, almost dreamlike, as if it belongs to a quieter world. The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort, elevates Sentosa
  • Guest:Loved the location of the hotel as it is closer to the attractions and vivo, its less than 10 minutes walk from USS which is great especially after Halloween night ?? Shuttle bus is also available every 12 minutes from hotel michael to Laurus. Absolutely loved everything about the hotel, from the staff to the amenities. The room has a coffee table that has a modern filtered water installed, nicee. Am seriously considering the room design for my own ?? Only thing is not much power points in the living room or the TV console area ?? Huge shoutout to Jackie and the breakfast team, very attentive and informative ??
